AB608,1,3 1An Act to amend 450.062 (intro.); and to create 450.03 (1) (i) of the statutes;
2relating to: delegation of the practice of pharmacy and granting rule-making
3authority.

Generally, under current law, no person may engage in the practice of pharmacy
unless the person is licensed as a pharmacist. This bill creates an exception to this
prohibition for a person who is providing services as directed, supervised, and
inspected by a pharmacist, subject to any rules promulgated by the Pharmacy
Examining Board.
The bill also specifically allows such a person acting under a pharmacist, as well
as a pharmacy student who has completed at least two years of pharmacy studies and
a person who has completed pharmacy studies but whose application for licensure
as a pharmacist is pending with the board, to engage in remote dispensing of
prescribed drugs.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB608,2,25 450.03 (1) (i) Any person who is providing services as directed, supervised, and
6inspected by a pharmacist who has the power to direct, decide, and oversee the

1implementation of the services rendered, subject to any rules promulgated by the
2board, subject to s. 450.035 (2m).
AB608,2 3Section 2 . 450.062 (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB608,2,6 4450.062 Remote dispensing. (intro.) Pursuant to rules promulgated by the
5board, a pharmacist or a person engaged in the practice of pharmacy under s. 450.03
6(1) (f), (g), or (i)
may dispense at any of the following locations:
