AR26,1,43 Whereas, those looking for a career need to have access to the skills and training
4that they need to continue their careers in Wisconsin; and
AR26,1,85 Whereas, Career and Technical Education Month educates students about
6open options as well as allows them to engage with career exploration tools to develop
7career skills, interest, and talents in order to prepare them prior to graduation, not
8after; and
AR26,1,109 Whereas, technical college education provides industry-recognized credentials
10as well as wages within the related field; and
AR26,1,1311 Whereas, 91 percent of technical college graduates are employed within six
12months of graduation, and 9 in 10 of these graduates continue to live and work in the
13state; and

1Whereas, career and technical education is essential in helping those looking
2for a career to not only explore a career, but also gain the skills and training that they
3need to procure and preserve their career in Wisconsin; now, therefore, be it
AR26,2,7 4Resolved by the assembly, That the Wisconsin Assembly recognizes the
5month of February 2022 as Career and Technical Education Month in Wisconsin to
6advocate for the advantages of career and technical education programs throughout
7the state and encourage everyone to become acquainted with these advantages.
