_Hlk199850581On August 11, 2025, the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter ATCP 12, relating to animal markets, dealers, and truckers, including fees, and affecting small businesses.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 015-24, was approved by the Governor on February 1, 2024, published in Register No. 818A1, on February 5, 2024, and approved by DATCP Board on May 9, 2024. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 11, September 16, and September 17, 2025. Written comments will be received through October 15, 2025.
