ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 5, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 462

AB462-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB462-AA5,1,3 1. Page 2, line 2: after "provided" insert ", prohibiting illegal immigrants from receiving a child care subsidy under Wisconsin Works,".

AB462-AA5,1,4 2. Page 21, line 12: after that line insert:

AB462-AA5,1,5 " Section 36c. 49.155 (1m) (b) 3. of the statutes is created to read:

AB462-AA5,1,6 49.155 (1m) (b) 3. To the extent permitted under federal law, s. 49.145 (2) (c).".

AB462-AA5,1,8 3. Page 24, line 1: delete "This act" and substitute "Except for the treatment of section 49.155 (1m) (b) 3. of the statutes, this act".

AB462-AA5,1,9 4. Page 24, line 7: after that line insert:

AB462-AA5,1,12 "(2) Child care subsidies for illegal immigrants prohibited. The treatment of section 49.155 (1m) (b) 3. of the statutes first applies to eligibility and continued eligibility determinations that are made on the effective date of this subsection.".

AB462-AA5,1,13 5. Page 24, line 13: after that line insert:

AB462-AA5,2,3 "(2) Child care subsidies for illegal immigrants prohibited. The treatment of section 49.155 (1m) (b) 3. of the statutes and Section 40 (2) of this act take effect on the day after publication.".
