ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 486

AB486-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB486-AA2,1,2 1. Page 3, line 15: delete "and".

AB486-AA2,1,5 2. Page 3, line 18: after "placement" insert "; and changing the effective date for paying to certain former public assistance recipients support or maintenance arrears collected by the state".

AB486-AA2,1,7 3. Page 48, line 18: delete "By no later than 90 days" and substitute "During the 90 days immediately".

AB486-AA2,1,9 4. Page 48, line 24: delete "by no later than 90 days" and substitute "during the 90 days immediately".

AB486-AA2,1,11 5. Page 49, line 9: delete "By no later than 90 days" and substitute "During the 90 days immediately".

AB486-AA2,2,2 6. Page 49, line 15: delete "by no later than 90 days" and substitute "during the 90 days immediately".

AB486-AA2,2,3 7. Page 97, line 7: after that line insert:

AB486-AA2,2,4 " Section 178r. 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, section 9308 (9) is amended to read:

AB486-AA2,2,7 [2009 Wisconsin Act 28] Section 9308 (9) Arrearages collected. The treatment of section 49.1452 of the statutes first applies to arrearages collected on the effective date of this subsection January 1, 2010.

AB486-AA2, s. 178t Section 178t. 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, section 9322 (7) (a) is amended to read:

AB486-AA2,2,11 [2009 Wisconsin Act 28] Section 9322 (7) (a) Arrearages collected. The treatment of section 49.776 of the statutes first applies to arrearages collected on the effective date of this paragraph January 1, 2010.

AB486-AA2, s. 178w Section 178w. 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, section 9408 (14) is amended to read:

AB486-AA2,2,15 [2009 Wisconsin Act 28] Section 9408 (14) Arrearages collected. The treatment of section 49.1452 of the statutes and Section 9308 (9) of this act take effect on January April 1, 2010.

AB486-AA2, s. 178x Section 178x. 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, section 9422 (12) (a) is amended to read:

AB486-AA2,2,19 [2009 Wisconsin Act 28] Section 9422 (12) (a) Arrearages collected. The treatment of section 49.776 of the statutes and Section 9322 (7) (a) of this act take effect on January April 1, 2010.".

AB486-AA2,2,20 8. Page 99, line 12: after "publication," insert "whichever is later,".

AB486-AA2,2,21 9. Page 99, line 23: after that line insert:

AB486-AA2,2,23 "(2) Support arrears pass-through. Sections 178r, 178t, 178w, and 178x of this act take effect on the day after publication.".
