ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 544

AB544-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB544-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 5: delete lines 5 and 6 and substitute:

AB544-AA1,1,3 "100.277 Lead wheel weights prohibited. (1) In this section:

AB544-AA1,1,4 (a) "Motorcycle" has the meaning given under s. 340.01 (32).

AB544-AA1,1,6 (b) "Motor vehicle" means a motor vehicle required to be registered under ch. 341.".

AB544-AA1,1,7 2. Page 2, line 7: after that line insert:

AB544-AA1,1,11 "(4) This section does not apply to a wheel weight or other wheel balancing product intended for use on a motorcycle if no suitable alternative to a wheel weight or other wheel balancing product that contains lead that was intentionally added during the manufacture of the product is available.".
