ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 15, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 181

SB181-AA15,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 1, as follows:

SB181-AA15,1,4 1. Page 10, line 11: after "establishments" insert ", except as provided in sub. (3) (k)".

SB181-AA15,1,5 2. Page 13, line 24: after that line insert:

SB181-AA15,1,6 " Section 65g. 101.123 (3) (k) of the statutes is created to read:

SB181-AA15,1,8 101.123 (3) (k) A room in a lodging establishment that has been designated as a room where smoking is allowed, as provided under sub. (3m).".

SB181-AA15,1,9 3. Page 14, line 5: after that line insert:

SB181-AA15,1,10 " Section 66r. 101.123 (3m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB181-AA15,1,13 101.123 (3m) Lodging. (a) Except as provided in par. (b), the owner of a lodging establishment may designate not more than 15 percent of the guest rooms in the lodging establishment as guest rooms in which smoking is permitted.

SB181-AA15,2,3 (b) If a lodging establishment has less than 4 rooms, the owner of the lodging establishment may designate one guest room as a guest room in which smoking is permitted.".
