SENATE AMENDMENT 3, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 63

SB63-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB63-SA3,1,3 1. Page 3, line 22: delete "claimant" and substitute "individual described under par. (b)".

SB63-SA3,1,4 2. Page 4, line 9: after that line insert:

SB63-SA3,1,7 "3m. A claimant may not claim the credit under par. (b) for any tuition amounts that the claimant paid or incurred for an individual who is not a resident of this state.".

SB63-SA3,1,9 3. Page 6, line 21: delete "claimant" and substitute "individual described under par. (b)".

SB63-SA3,1,10 4. Page 7, line 6: after that line insert:

SB63-SA3,1,13 "3m. A claimant may not claim the credit under par. (b) for any tuition amounts that the claimant paid or incurred for an individual who is not a resident of this state.".

SB63-SA3,2,2 5. Page 9, line 21: delete "claimant" and substitute "individual described under par. (b)".

SB63-SA3,2,3 6. Page 10, line 6: after that line insert:

SB63-SA3,2,6 "3m. A claimant may not claim the credit under par. (b) for any tuition amounts that the claimant paid or incurred for an individual who is not a resident of this state.".

SB63-SA3,2,10 7. Page 11, line 16: delete ", 2009" and substitute "of the year in which this subsection takes effect, except that if this subsection takes effect after July 31 this act first applies to taxable years beginning on January 1 of the year following the year in which this subsection takes effect".
