1995 WISCONSIN ACT 171

An Act to amend 448.05 (5r) of the statutes; relating to: the requirements for persons applying for a certificate as a respiratory care practitioner.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

171, s. 1 Section 1. 448.05 (5r) of the statutes is amended to read:

448.05 (5r) Certificate as respiratory care practitioner. An applicant for a certificate or a temporary certificate to practice respiratory care shall submit evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant is a graduate of a school with a course of instruction in respiratory care approved by the joint review committee for respiratory therapy education commission on accreditation of allied health education programs of the American medical association.
