1995 WISCONSIN ACT 312
An Act to renumber 27.01 (8) (d) (title); to renumber and amend 27.01 (8) (d); and to create 27.01 (8m) (a) 2. and 27.01 (8m) (b) of the statutes; relating to: collection of admission fees to state trails and Heritage Hill State Park.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
312, s. 1 Section 1. 27.01 (8) (d) (title) of the statutes is renumbered 27.01 (8m) (title).
312, s. 2 Section 2. 27.01 (8) (d) of the statutes is renumbered 27.01 (8m) (a) (intro.) and amended to read:
27.01 (8m) (a) (intro.) The department may authorize agents, including the department's concessionaires and their agents, to collect the admission fees and to under sub. (8) as follows:
1. Agents who are managers and operators of state trails, and who incur actual operating expenses, may retain not more than 20% 70% of the admission fees collected by them that they collect.
(c) The department shall regulate their the activities of agents under this subsection in a manner similar to s. 29.09.
312, s. 3 Section 3. 27.01 (8m) (a) 2. of the statutes is created to read:
27.01 (8m) (a) 2. Agents to whom subd. 1. does not apply may retain not more than 20% of the admission fees that they collect.
312, s. 4 Section 4. 27.01 (8m) (b) of the statutes is created to read:
27.01 (8m) (b) An agent who is a manager and operator of a state trail, and who incurs actual operating expenses, must use the fees retained under this subsection for the operation of the state trail.
