Honorable Speaker Jensen:
I am writing to inform you that I am resigning effective 5 P.M., June 19, 1998. The reason for my decision to resign early is due to a discussion I've had with the ethics board legal staff about seeking future employment.
In order for me to freely seek employment - and to be absolutely certain there is no ethical or legal conflict and to avoid an appearance of such conflicts - I am tendering my resignation immediately as state representative of the 8th Assembly District.
It has been my honor to represent constituents of the near south side of Milwaukee in the Legislature
Sincerely,
Wally Kunicki
8th Assembly District
