Dear Speaker Jensen:
1999 Assembly Bill 354, introduced by Representatives Pettis, Townsend, Gard, Petrowski, Suder, Kelso, Skindrud, Hundertmark, Kestell, Leibham, Montgomery, Hahn, Rhoades, Musser, Gundrum, Stone, Spillner, Sykora and Jensen, relates to the funding source for the earned income tax credit and making an appropriation.
1999 Assembly Bill 354 contains a fiscal note in excess of $10,000. Pursuant to sec. 16.47(2), Stats., I consider this bill an emergency bill, I recommend the bill and I ask that passage of 1999 Assembly Bill 354 be permitted prior to the budget bill.
