Motion for Extraordinary Session
May 18, 2004
The following motion was approved by the committee on Assembly Organization:
In accordance with Joint Rule 81 (2), it is moved that the Assembly Committee on Organization authorize that the Legislature to meet in Extraordinary Session at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 18, 2004, solely for the purpose of taking action on bills relating to: adopting federal law as it relates to health savings accounts for state income and franchise tax purposes; and, Medical Assistance Program and Community Aids Program funding and programs and making an appropriation.
Ayes: 4 - Representatives Gard, Foti, Hundertmark and Vrakas.
Noes: 3 - Representatives Kreuser, Richards and Turner.
In accordance with Joint Rule 81(2), it is moved that the Assembly Committee on Organization add to the call of the May 2004 Extraordinary Session to include the consideration of a proposal to require the approval of Indian gaming compacts by the Joint Committee on Legislative Organization and the Legislature.
Ayes: 4 - Representatives Gard, Foti, Hundertmark and Vrakas.
Noes: 3 - Representatives Kreuser, Richards and Turner.

In accordance with Joint Rule 81(2), it is moved that the Assembly Committee on Organization authorize that the Legislature meet in Extraordinary Session at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 18, 2004, solely for the purpose of taking action on bills relating to: adopting federal law as it relates to health savings accounts for state income and franchise tax purposes; and, Medical Assistance Program and Community Aids Program funding and programs and making an appropriation.
