66.0410 of the statutes; relating to: regulating the resale of
2tickets to entertainment or sporting events.

Under this bill, a political subdivision (city, village, town, or county) may not
enact an ordinance or adopt a resolution that prohibits the resale of tickets to an
entertainment or sporting event if the resale price is equal to or less than the ticket's
face value. If a political subdivision has in effect an ordinance or resolution that is
inconstant with this bill, such an ordinance or resolution does not apply and may not

enact as follows:

66.0410 of the statutes is created to read:
466.0410 Local regulation of ticket reselling. (1) Definitions.
In this 5
(a) "Political subdivision" means a city, village, town, or county.
(b) "Ticket" means a ticket that is sold to an entertainment or sporting event.
2(2) Reselling of tickets.
(a) A political subdivision may not enact an 3
ordinance or adopt a resolution prohibiting the resale of any ticket for an amount 4
that is equal to or less than the ticket's face value.
(b) If a political subdivision has in effect on the effective date of this subsection 6
