The Senate met.
The Senate was called to order by President Risser.

Call of Roll
The roll was called and the following Senators answered to their names:
Senators Breske, Carpenter, Coggs, Decker, S. Fitzgerald, Hansen, Kanavas, Kreitlow, Lassa, Lehman, Miller, Plale, Risser, Robson, Sullivan, Taylor, Vinehout and Wirch - 18.
Absent - Senators Cowles, Darling, Ellis, Erpenbach, Grothman, Harsdorf, Jauch, Kapanke, Kedzie, A. Lasee, Lazich, Leibham, Olsen, Roessler and Schultz - 15.
Absent with leave - None.
The Senate stood for the prayer which was offered by Reverend David Susan, recently retired from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Madison.
The Senate remained standing and Senator Lassa led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.

Adjournment
Senator Decker, with unanimous consent, asked that the December 2007 Special Session adjourn until Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
