[MOTION 1] To waive the public hearing requirement, pursuant to Senate Rule 18(1m), on AB-760, relating to registration of professional employer organizations, requiring the exercise of rule-making authority, and providing a penalty. The Senate companion bill, SB-440, received a public hearing on February 13, 2008. In addition, to refer AB-760 to, and withdraw from, the joint committee on Finance and place on the calendar for Tuesday, March 11, 2008 as a special order of business at 11:25 A.M. after AB-616, pursuant to Senate Rule 41 (1)(e).
