SJR1,2,1 1Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That:
SJR1, s. 1 2Section 1. 2009-2010 Session schedule. (1) Biennial session period. The
3legislature declares that the biennial session period of the 2009 Wisconsin
4legislature began on Monday, January 5, 2009, and that the biennial session period
5ends at 12 noon on Monday, January 3, 2011.
SJR1,2,116 (2) Scheduled floorperiods and committee work periods. (a) Unreserved
7days.
Unless reserved under this subsection as a day to conduct an organizational
8meeting or to be part of a scheduled floorperiod of the legislature, every day of the
9biennial session period is designated as a day for committee activity and is available
10to extend a scheduled floorperiod, convene an extraordinary session, or take senate
11action on appointments as permitted by joint rule 81.
SJR1,2,1412 (b) Inauguration. Pursuant to section 13.02 (1) of the statutes, the
13inauguration of the members of the 2009 legislature, and the organizing for business
14of the 2 houses, commences at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2009.
SJR1,2,1615 (c) Floorperiod. A floorperiod commences on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at 10
16a.m., and ends on January 13, 2009.
SJR1,2,1817 (d) Floorperiod. A floorperiod commences on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at 10
18a.m., and ends on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
SJR1,2,2019 (e) Floorperiod. A floorperiod commences on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at
2010 a.m., and, unless adjourned earlier, ends on Thursday, February 26, 2009.

18thereon all enrolled bills, except the general fund executive budget bill, originating
19in the chief clerk's house and having been passed by both houses, in regular,
20extraordinary, or special session, on or before Friday, July 31, 2009.
SJR1,4,221 (L) Budget bill to governor. No later than the later of Thursday, August 6, 2009,
22at 4:30 p.m., or 4:30 p.m on the 4th Thursday after the general fund executive budget
23bill is passed by both houses in identical form, the chief clerk of each house shall
24submit to the governor for executive action thereon any enrolled general fund

2by both houses, in regular, extraordinary, or special session.
