Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On March 18, 2015, the Department of Safety and Professional Services submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters SPS 50, 60, 61, and 65, relating to barbering, schools of barbering, cosmetology, aesthetics, electrology, and manicuring.
 
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 058-14, was approved by the Governor on May 28, 2014, published in Register No. 703A, on June 30, 2014, and approved by Dave Ross, Secretary of the Department of Safety and Professional Services on July 7, 2014.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on April 20, 2015.
