NOTICE OF RULEMAKING HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority granted under ss. 949.22, Stats., the Department of Justice (DOJ) will hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of a permanent rule to amend Jus 11.01 through Jus. 11.13 and to create Jus 11.14 through Jus. 11.16 relating to awards made to health care providers from the Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (“SAFE”) Fund for the costs in performing sexual assault forensic examinations. An economic impact report by the Department of Administration under s. 227.137(6), Stats., is not required because the proposed rule is not reasonably expected to impose implementation or compliance costs of $20,000,000 or more on businesses, local governmental units, or individuals.
INITIAL REGULATORY FLEXIBILITY ANALYSIS
The proposed rule will not have an effect on small businesses, as defined under s. 227.114(1), Stats.
