Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse

On January 5, 2022, the Department of Safety and Professional Services submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.

Analysis

The proposed rules affect Chapter SPS 131, relating to home inspections and home inspector education.

Statement of Scope

The scope statement for this rule, SS 054-21, was approved by the Governor on June 3, 2021 and published in Register No. 786A2, on June 7, 2021, and approved by the Department of Safety and Professional Services on June 22, 2021.

Agency Procedure for Promulgation

A public hearing is required and will be held on February 4, 2022.
