Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On November 15, 2023, the Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter PI 34, relating to student teaching equivalency. A related emergency rule, EmR2315, affecting the same Administrative Code provisions contained in this proposed rule and relating to the same purpose has been published and will be effective upon publication in the Wisconsin State Journal newspaper on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 020-22, was approved by the Governor on March 8, 2022, published in Register No., 795A2 on March 14, 2022, and approved by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jill K. Underly, on March 24, 2022. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on a date to be determined.
