Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse

On November 28, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.

Analysis

The proposed rules affect chs. NR 500, 502, 542 and 544, relating to statewide materials recycling and effective recycling programs.

Statement of Scope

The scope statement for this rule, SS 022-22, was approved by the Governor on March 17, 2022, published in Register No. 795B on March 28, 2022, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on June 22, 2022.

Agency Procedure for Promulgation

A public hearing is required and will be held on January 17, 2024.
