NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF RULES TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE

COMMENCEMENT OF SCHOOL TERM

PI 27, WISCONSIN ADMINISTRATIVE CODE

On February 23, 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse.

The scope statement for this rule, SS 011-24, was published in Register No. 817B, on January 29, 2024, and approved by State Superintendent Jill K. Underly on February 13, 2024.

The proposed rule amends ch. PI 27, relating to revisions to rules governing the commencement of the school term prior to September 1 and affecting small businesses.

Public hearings will be scheduled as required under s. 227.16 (1), Stats.
