ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 213

AB213-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB213-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 4: delete that line and substitute:

AB213-AA1,1,3 " Section 2. 118.013 (1) (a) 1. of the statutes is renumbered 118.013 (1) (a).

AB213-AA1, s. 3 Section 3. 118.013 (1) (a) 2. of the statutes is renumbered 118.013 (1) (b) and amended to read:

AB213-AA1,1,8 118.013 (1) (b) If the school includes high school grades, a pupil enrolled in those grades, selected as determined by the school board, shall participate in the development of the program under subd. 1. par. (a) as a nonvoting member.

AB213-AA1, s. 4 Section 4. 118.013 (1) (b) of the statutes is repealed.

AB213-AA1, s. 5 Section 5. 118.013 (2) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB213-AA1,2,2 118.013 (2) (a) During the 1993-94 school year, if If the representatives chosen under sub. (1) (a) agree, they shall meet to develop a management restructuring program that addresses all of the school's educational practices except those that are mandatory subjects of collective bargaining under subch. IV of ch. 111. The representatives may agree to allow members of other groups to participate in the meetings. The meetings shall be by school, except that if a principal supervises more than one school, the meetings shall be by the group of schools that he or she supervises.

AB213-AA1, s. 6 Section 6. 118.013 (3) (a) of the statutes is repealed.

AB213-AA1, s. 7 Section 7. 118.013 (3) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 118.013 (3) and amended to read:

AB213-AA1,2,10 118.013 (3) If a management restructuring program is implemented following the receipt of a grant under par. (a), the program shall specify that the school board determines the school district and each school's budget but shall also provide that any management council established for a school under the program may make recommendations to the school board regarding how the school's budget is allocated.

AB213-AA1, s. 8 Section 8. 118.013 (3) (c) of the statutes is repealed.".
