SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 126

AB126-SA2,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB126-SA2,1,4 1. Page 1, line 2: after "Program" insert "and restricting the enrollment of certain private schools in the program".

AB126-SA2,1,5 2. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

AB126-SA2,1,6 " Section 1b. 119.23 (2) (a) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB126-SA2,1,9 119.23 (2) (a) (intro.) Subject to par. pars. (b) and (c), any pupil in grades kindergarten to 12 who resides within the city may attend, at no charge, any private school located in the city if all of the following apply:

AB126-SA2, s. 1c Section 1c. 119.23 (2) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

AB126-SA2,1,13 119.23 (2) (c) If a private school participating in the program under this section refuses to participate in the study under sub. (9), the number of pupils attending the private school under this section may not increase.".

AB126-SA2,2,1 3. Page 1, line 3: substitute "Section 1m" for "Section 1".
