SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 35

SJR35-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the joint resolution as follows:

SJR35-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 6: delete "or whole, or parts of, appropriation acts".

SJR35-SA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 19: delete "or whole, or part of, an appropriation act".

SJR35-SA1,1,4 3. Page 2, line 20: delete "or whole, or part of, an appropriation act".

SJR35-SA1,1,5 4. Page 2, line 21: after that line insert:

SJR35-SA1,1,8 "(1m) A referendum may be ordered only at an election at which either members of the legislature or members of the judiciary are regularly elected. Only one referendum may be ordered or held at any one of those elections.".

SJR35-SA1,1,9 5. Page 2, line 23: delete "or whole,".

SJR35-SA1,1,10 6. Page 3, line 1: delete that line and substitute ", the whole".

SJR35-SA1,1,11 7. Page 3, line 3: delete "or whole, or".

SJR35-SA1,2,1 8. Page 3, line 4: delete that line and substitute ", the whole".
