SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2013 SENATE BILL 1

SB1-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB1-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 1: after "budgets" insert ", the school district levy for community programs and services,".

SB1-SA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 2: before that line insert:

SB1-SA1,1,5 " Section 1d. 2013 Wisconsin Act 20, section 9134 (4L) (g) is created to read:

SB1-SA1,1,10 [2013 Wisconsin Act 20] Section 9134 (4L) (g) 1. Notwithstanding paragraph (b) 1., if a school board levied more for community programs and services in 2011 than it levied for community programs and services in 2012, its limit under paragraph (b) 1. is the amount it levied for community programs and services in 2011, except as provided in subdivision 2.

SB1-SA1,1,13 2. Notwithstanding paragraph (b) 1. and subdivision 1., if a school board voted before June 1, 2013, to adopt a plan for its community programs and services levy in 2013, its limit under paragraph (b) 1. is the amount specified in the plan.

SB1-SA1,2,2 3. Subdivisions 1. and 2. apply only if the school board's levy for community programs and services in 2011 or 2012 was less than $1,000,000.".

SB1-SA1,2,3 3. Page 1, line 2: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1m".
