Assembly Bill 1
Relating to: state finances and appropriations, constituting the governor's recommendations for correcting the imbalance between projected revenues and authorized expenditures.
The members of the Committee of Conference on January 2002 Special Session Assembly Bill 1, convened under January 2002 Special Session Assembly Joint Resolution 1, report and recommend That, by the adoption of this report:
1. Prior senate action. The senate recedes from its position.
2. Prior assembly action. The assembly recedes from its position.
3. Action on conference report. The senate and assembly adopt and concur in Assembly substitute amendment 1 to January 2002 Special Session Assembly Bill 1 as affected by Conference Amendment 1 (LRBb3115/1), as affected by Conference Amendment 1 (LRBb3119/1) thereto, and Conference Amendment 2 (LRBb3118/2) to that substitute amendment, which are attached to and made a part of this report.

Senator Chvala, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourns, it do so in honor of Maribeth Witzel-Behl, husband Michael and their new daughter Isabel Elizabeth, born June 15, 2002.
Senator Panzer, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Senator Lasee and his wife on their 42nd wedding anniversary.
Senator Wirch, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Central High School Baseball Falcons, Central Champs in the Lakeshore conference with a 10 and 2 record and an overall record of 21 and 6. They were coached to the State Championship by Randy Krehbiel and the Athletic Director Kris Allison.
