Dear Patrick:
The following bills were jointly referred to the Assembly Ways and Means Committee and the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions pursuant to Assembly Rule 42 (1)(b): Assembly Bills 167, 168, 171, 234 and 336. Also, I am withdrawing Assembly Bills 10, 127 and 138 from the Ways and Means Committee and referring them to the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions.
It is my intention to re-refer all of the above mentioned bills to the Ways and Means Committee after the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions has issued a report on each proposal. I have obtained the consent of Representative Michael Lehman, chairman of the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means prior to making this request.
