This letter will confirm that I authorize the temporary appointment of Senator Sullivan to replace Senator Plale at the meeting of the state's Building Commission on Thursday, November 15. Senator Sullivan will attend the Administrative Affairs Subcommittee and the meeting of the full Building Commission.

On November 5, 2007, the Committee on Senate Organization reorganized the standing committees of the Senate. In conjunction with this reorganization and pursuant to Senate Rule
20 (2) (a), I am making the following minority party appointments to Senate committees, based upon nominations by the Minority Leader:
The members of the Senate Committee on Health, Human Services, Insurance and Job Creation are the members of the former Senate Committee on Health and Human Services.
The members of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Corrections, and Housing are the members of the former Senate Committee on Judiciary and Corrections.
The members of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Tourism are the members of the former Senate Committee on Transportation, Tourism and Insurance.
The members of the Senate Committee on Tax Fairness and Family Prosperity are Senators Grothman and Leibham.
The members of the Senate Committee on Economic Development are the members of the former Senate Committee on Economic Development, Job Creation, Family Prosperity and Housing.
Except as described above, each minority party member of any Senate committee that was unaffected by the reorganization shall continue his or her appointment. In addition, I am replacing Senator Breske with Senator Taylor on the Senate Committee on Health, Human Services, Insurance and Job Creation.
