Born April 28, 1959, Oklahoma City, OK; one son, one daughter. Attended UW, Dartmouth College, Oklahoma State, and Colorado State U. B.A. Middlebury College 1982; M.S. Natural Science U. of Oklahoma 1988. Founder-owner of energy and environmental consulting firm. Former VISTA volunteer for Alaska state division of energy; environmental policy advisor and assistant political director for the 1992 Clinton-Gore campaign; union leader; stonemasons asst. foreman, Rocky Mountain Institute; Sierra Club: senior Midwest rep., Great Lakes program dir., coordinator of Challenge to Sprawl campaign, Protect Our Families from Floods Project; former middle and H.S. teacher, Cross Academy, Norman, OK.
