2Wisconsin tuition grants.

Under current law, a resident student who is enrolled at least half-time at an
accredited, nonprofit Wisconsin college or university is eligible for a tuition grant.
This bill makes a resident student who is enrolled at least half-time in a Wisconsin
branch or campus of an accredited, nonprofit college or university located in another
state eligible for a tuition grant.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB396, s. 1 3Section 1. 39.30 (2) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB396,2,24 39.30 (2) Eligibility. (intro.) A resident student who is enrolled at least
5half-time and registered as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in an
6accredited, nonprofit, post-high school, educational institution in this state or who
7is so enrolled and registered in an in-state branch or campus of an accredited,

1nonprofit, post-high school educational institution located in another state
shall be
2eligible for grants under this section for each semester of attendance, but:
