18in his or her official capacity, shall be admitted as evidence in any court within the
19state, but the same may be explained or rebutted by other evidence. If any county
20surveyor or any of his or her deputies are interested in any tract of land a survey of
21which becomes necessary, such survey may be executed by any licensed professional
22land surveyor appointed by the board.

15that, when added to the period of the apprenticeship, totals at least 8 years of land

17examination administered by the land surveyor section. This paragraph applies to
18actions of the land surveyor section on applications for professional land surveyors'
19certificates licenses that are submitted to the land surveyor section after June 30,
202000.

AB804,18,322 443.06 (3) Permit to practice. The examining board may grant a permit to
23engage in the practice of professional land surveying during the time an application
24is pending to a person who is not registered licensed in this state, if the person has

which in the opinion of the examining board meets the requirements of sub.

21surveyor license, for the practice of any fraud or deceit in obtaining the certificate
22license, or any gross negligence, incompetence, or misconduct in the practice of
23professional land surveying.
AB804, s. 52 24Section 52. 443.12 (3) of the statutes is amended to read:

1443.12 (3) If after a hearing 3 members vote in favor of reprimand or limiting,
2suspending, or revoking the certificate of registration license of a professional land
3surveyor, the section shall notify the surveyor to that effect. The surveyor shall
4return the certificate license to the examining board immediately on receipt of notice
5of a revocation. The action of the section may be reviewed under ch. 227.
AB804, s. 53 6Section 53. 443.135 of the statutes is created to read:
AB804,19,12 7443.135 Cartographic, construction, and geodetic surveying. Nothing
8in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit a person who has not been granted a
9license or permit to practice professional land surveying under this chapter from
10performing cartographic, construction, or geodetic surveying, unless the
11performance of cartographic, construction, or geodetic surveying also involves a
12practice specified in s. 443.01 (6s) (a) to (e).
AB804, s. 54 13Section 54. 443.14 (8) (a) of the statutes is renumbered 443.14 (8) and
14amended to read:
AB804,19,1815 443.14 (8) An employee of a professional land surveyor registered licensed in
16this state or authorized to practice under a permit, while working doing surveying
17work
under the supervision of the employer. Such exempt employee shall not be in
