AB146-AA16,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB146-AA16,1,2 1. Page 3, line 1: before that line insert:

AB146-AA16,1,3 " Section 1g. 165.25 (3n) of the statutes is created to read:

AB146-AA16,1,7 165.25 (3n) Review cases involving death or harm to an unborn child before the child is viable. Review cases submitted to the department by district attorneys under s. 967.057. The attorney general shall determine whether a prosecution may be commenced.".

AB146-AA16,1,8 2. Page 3, line 1: delete " Section 1." and substitute "Section 1r.".

AB146-AA16,1,9 3. Page 14, line 2: after that line insert:

AB146-AA16,1,10 " Section 41m. 967.057 of the statutes is created to read:

AB146-AA16,2,2 967.057 Prosecution of offenses involving death or harm to an unborn child before the child is viable. A district attorney may submit a case involving an alleged violation of s. 940.01 (1) (b), 940.02 (1m), 940.05 (2g), 940.06 (2), 940.08 (2), 940.09 (1) (c) to (e) or (1g) (c) or (d), 940.10 (2), 940.195, 940.23 (1) (b) or (2) (b), 940.24 (2) or 940.25 (1) (c) to (e) involving an unborn child before viability for review under s. 165.25 (3n). No criminal action for any such violation may be commenced against any person unless the attorney general determines under s. 165.25 (3n) that the action may be commenced.".
