7and sources of all funds expended in this state on transportation services for the
8elderly and disabled. On or before July 1, 1996, the department of transportation
9shall report the results of its study to the governor, and to the chief clerk of each house
10of the legislature for distribution in the manner provided under section 13.172 (2) of
11the statutes, as affected by this act. All other state agencies shall cooperate with the
12department of transportation in conducting the study.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,450,19 13(5mt)Repaving of I 43 . The department of transportation shall repave that
14portion of I 43 with a tined surface beginning before Henry Clay Street and extending
15beyond Bender and Devon streets in Milwaukee County, no later than 6 months after
16the effective date of this subsection, for the purpose of eliminating the tined surface.
17The department shall expend funds not to exceed $650,000 from the appropriation
18under section 20.395 (3) (cq) or (cx) of the statutes, as affected by this act, for the
19repaving project.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,450,20 20(5t)Urban rail transit systems.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,451,2 21(a) The department of transportation shall prepare a report that identifies the
22amounts of moneys that the department of transportation intended to expend in the
231995-97 fiscal biennium for the study of any urban rail transit system, including any
24light rail transit system, and the appropriations from which the moneys were to be

1expended, and shall submit the report to the cochairpersons of the joint committee
2on finance by August 30, 1995.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,451,9 3(b) Upon receiving the report under paragraph (a), the joint committee on
4finance may transfer all or part of the moneys from the appropriation accounts
5identified in the report to any of the appropriation accounts under section 20.395 (1)
6(bq) or (bu) of the statutes, as affected by this act. Upon transfer of any moneys to
7the appropriation account under section 20.395 (1) (bq) or (bu) of the statutes, the
8amounts in the schedule are increased by the amount transferred for the fiscal year

11the rate for calculating the amount due under section 341.45 (1g) (a) of the statutes,

13and 1997 by adding the rates for the taxes under chapter 78 of the statutes and the
14fee under section 168.12 of the statutes for each of the months in the quarter, by

17department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection shall jointly develop a

21including recommended statutory changes, to the joint committee on finance by

14commission who are entitled to vote constitutes a quorum to do business. Each
15member of the commission shall serve without compensation for his or her services,
16but shall be reimbursed for his or her actual and necessary expenses incurred in the
17performance of his or her duties.

19made to fund the expenses of the commission. All moneys received under this
20paragraph shall be credited to the appropriation account under section 20.505 (3)

23government that may be delegated to the private sector at a cost savings to state
24taxpayers.

AB150-ASA1-AA26,454,4 3c.  The commission shall submit reports of its findings and any
4recommendations to the competitive enterprise review board, as created by this act.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,454,8 5d.  The commission may propose legislation to carry out its recommendations
6by submitting its legislative proposals to the competitive enterprise review board, as
7created by this act. The commission may hold public hearings on its legislative
8proposals.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,454,12 97.  The commission may call upon any state agency to make available the
10resources, facilities or data of the state agency for use by the commission. Each state
11agency shall cooperate with the commission to the fullest extent possible, including
12the provision, if requested by the commission, of staff assistance.
AB150-ASA1-AA26,454,16 138. The commission shall submit its reports under subdivision 6. c. and all of its
14legislative proposals under subdivision 6. d. no later than the first day of the 7th
15month beginning after the effective date of this subsection. Upon submittal of its
16reports, the commission ceases to exist.
