1995 Assembly Joint Resolution 88
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and public service of Kyle Kenyon.
Whereas, Kyle Kenyon was born in Wyeville, Wisconsin, on March 22, 1924, and died at his home on Wednesday, March 6, 1996; and
Whereas, he graduated from Tomah High School and the University of Wisconsin Law School and practiced law for 45 years; and
Whereas, Kyle Kenyon served 7 terms in the Wisconsin state assembly, representing the citizens of the 92nd assembly district from 1957 to 1970; and
Whereas, Kyle Kenyon served as the assistant republican leader and on numerous prominent committees in the Wisconsin legislature; and
Whereas, Kyle Kenyon was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. army and army air corps from 1943 to 1946; and
Whereas, he served as the Monroe County Veterans Service Officer for 12 years and as a family court commissioner for Monroe County; and
Whereas, Kyle Kenyon was an active member of numerous veteran and local civic organizations, to which he selflessly contributed and gave back to his community; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature recognize the years of public service of Kyle Kenyon and note their appreciation for his contributions, express their sorrow at his death and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint resolution to Kyle Kenyon's wife, Xena; to his sons, Charles and John; and to his daughters, Kathleen, Liz and Helen.
