To the Honorable, the Legislature:
The attached report meets the mandates in s. 140.84, Wis. Stats. to provide a report on the implementation of the Joint Youth Alcohol/Drug Abuse Plan. Please note that this report covers the period from July 1, 1993, to June 30, 1995. The plan calls for most activities to be completed over a minimum of two (2) years.
The Department of Public Instruction and the Department of Health and Social Services have worked cooperatively to totally or partially complete the established objectives. There is considerable joint involvement on committees of the State Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse. Your suggestions or comments regarding this report are welcome.
Sincerely,
