The Honorable, The Senate:
I hereby submit my resignation as State Senator from the 24th District, effective 5:00 p.m. February 17, 1995.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to represent the people of the 24th Senate District. Serving in the Legislature, representing Central Wisconsin, has been the most exciting and rewarding non-family experience of my life.
The Legislative institution is vital to our way of government. It is the one place where people have a voice in our democracy.
I appreciate the support you and all members of the senate have given me during my tenure in the senate.
Sincerely,
senator David helbach
