AB576, s. 29 Section 29. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB576,26,12 (1) Emergency rule making.

AB576,26,17 (a) The department of health and social services shall submit in proposed form the rules required under section 49.176 of the statutes, as created and renumbered by this act, to the legislative council staff under section 227.15 (1) of the statutes no later than the first day of the 6th month beginning after the effective date of this paragraph.

AB576,26,24 (b) Using the procedure under section 227.24 of the statutes, the department of health and social services shall promulgate rules required under section 49.176 of the statutes, as created and renumbered by this act, for the period before the effective date of the rules submitted under paragraph (a) , but not to exceed the period authorized under section 227.24 (1) (c) and (2) of the statutes. Notwithstanding section 227.24 (1) and (3) of the statutes, the department of health and social services is not required to make a finding of emergency.

AB576, s. 30 Section 30. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:
