ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 108

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 5: delete that line and substitute:

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,4 " Section 2g. 21.49 (3) (a) of the statutes is renumbered 21.49 (3) (a) 1. and amended to read:".

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,7 2. Page 1, line 6: delete "Any" and substitute "1. Any Beginning on July 1, 1997, or on the effective date of this subdivision .... [revisor inserts date], whichever is later, any".

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,8 3. Page 1, line 8: delete " 100%", in both places, and substitute "75%".

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,9 4. Page 1, line 10: after that line insert:

AB108-ASA1-AA2,1,10 " Section 2m. 21.49 (3) (a) 2. of the statutes is created to read:

AB108-ASA1-AA2,2,4 21.49 (3) (a) 2. Beginning on July 1, 1998, any eligible guard member upon satisfactory completion of a full-time or part-time course in a qualifying school is eligible for a tuition grant equal to 100% of the actual tuition charged by the school or 100% of the maximum resident undergraduate tuition charged by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a comparable number of credits, whichever amount is less.".
