SENATE AMENDMENT 8, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 7

SB7-SSA1-SA8,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB7-SSA1-SA8,1,2 1. Page 23, line 18: delete that line and substitute:

SB7-SSA1-SA8,1,3 " Section 48s. 11.26 (7m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB7-SSA1-SA8,1,6 11.26 (7m) No individual may make any contribution or contributions to a political party, as defined in s. 5.02 (13), exceeding a total value of $1,000 in a calendar year.

SB7-SSA1-SA8, s. 49g Section 49g. 11.26 (8e) of the statutes is created to read:

SB7-SSA1-SA8,1,10 11.26 (8e) No candidate or his or her personal campaign committee may make any contribution or contributions to a political party, as defined in s. 5.02 (13), exceeding a total value of $1,000 in a calendar year.

SB7-SSA1-SA8, s. 49r Section 49r. 11.26 (8g) of the statutes is created to read:

SB7-SSA1-SA8,2,3 11.26 (8g) No political party, as defined in s. 5.02 (13), may make any contribution or contributions to a candidate or his or her personal campaign committee exceeding a total of $1,000 in a calendar year.".
