Representative Green introduced Marc Klaas, founder of the Marc Klaas Foundation for Children, which is dedicated to the memory of his 12 year-old daughter, Polly, who was abducted from her home during a slumber party and murdered. The foundation's purpose is to inform parents, children, and communities about how to prevent crimes against children through personal action and support of legislation. He addressed the members from the rostrum.
