1999 WISCONSIN ACT 64
An Act to renumber 41.40; and to create 41.40 (2) of the statutes; relating to: an agreement to indemnify the federal government in connection with the transfer of land for the Kickapoo valley reserve.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
64,1 Section 1. 41.40 of the statutes is renumbered 41.40 (1).
64,2 Section 2. 41.40 (2) of the statutes is created to read:
41.40 (2) The department of administration may enter into an agreement to indemnify the federal government from claims arising from or through the management and operation of the land, and any improvements on the land, transferred under sub. (1).
