ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 SENATE BILL 381

SB381-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB381-AA1,1,9 1. Page 2, line 9: after "Mexico." insert "with respect to any payment to Ducks Unlimited, Inc., under this subsection, the agreement shall require Ducks Unlimited, Inc., to submit a written request for the payment of a specific amount of net proceeds received under s. 341.14 (6r) (b) 7., accompanied by a statement from Ducks Unlimited, Inc., certifying that Ducks Unlimited, Inc., possesses a matching fund contribution that is equal to the amount of the payment under this subsection and a plan for the use of the amount of the payment under this subsection and the matching fund contribution.".

SB381-AA1,1,12 3. Page 3, line 3: after that line insert:

SB381-AA1,2,7 "(4) The department of natural resources shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the department of transportation that requires the department of transportation, upon notification from the department of natural resources following submission of written requests from Ducks Unlimited, Inc., to deposit moneys received under s. 341.14 (6r) (b) 7. in the conservation fund to be credited to the appropriation under s. 20.370 (5) (au) in amounts specified by the department of natural resources.".
