SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 SENATE BILL 8

SB8-SSA1,1,3 An Act to renumber and amend 125.68 (4) (a); and to create 125.68 (4) (a) 2. of the statutes; relating to: hours of sales by intoxicating liquor wholesalers located within 1st class cities.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB8-SSA1, s. 1 Section 1. 125.68 (4) (a) of the statutes is renumbered 125.68(4) (a) 1. and amended to read:

SB8-SSA1,1,9 125.68 (4) (a) 1. No Except as provided in subd. 2., no premises for which a wholesale intoxicating liquor permit has been issued may remain open for the sale of intoxicating liquor between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 a.m., except on Saturday the premises may remain open until 9 p.m.

SB8-SSA1, s. 2 Section 2. 125.68 (4) (a) 2. of the statutes is created to read:

SB8-SSA1,2,3 125.68 (4) (a) 2. No premises that is located within a 1st class city and for which a wholesale intoxicating liquor permit has been issued may remain open for the sale of intoxicating liquor between the hours of 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
