In accordance with Section
1.11 (2)(j) Wis. Stats., the Department of Health and Family Services reports that one Environmental Assessment (EA) was conducted by the Department of Health and Family Services during the reporting period of July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000.
The EA was done for the project to construct a 15-bed addition to the Mendota Juvenile Treatment Center at Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. It was determined that the construction of this addition does not have a significant negative effect on the environment.

46.014 (4) of the Wis. Stats., the Department is required to submit an annual report to the Legislature concerning the activities of the community action agencies under s.
46.30, and their effectiveness in promoting social and economic opportunities for poor persons.
The attached report describes the use of the Community Services Block Grant funding, and the services and activities of the community action agencies carried out to reduce poverty, revitalize low-income communities, and empower low-income individuals and families to become fully self-sufficient.

Pursuant to section 292.25, Wis. Stats., the Department of Natural Resources is required to prepare a report that provides an update on the status of the Voluntary Party Liability Exemption (s.
292.25, Wis. Stats.). The Voluntary Party Liability Exemption is a process that allows parties to clean up brownfield properties and receive exemptions from future liability. This report is required to be submitted to the Legislature, the Governor, and the Department of Administration.
