Senator Jauch, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Mary Griggs Burke for donating her family's 872-acre estate of Forest Lodge to the Trust for Public Land. The undeveloped property, located in Northern Wisconsin provides an important habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife. This gift will ensure the preservation of this ecological gem as a permanent part of the Northern Wisconsin landscape for our generation and future generations to enjoy. This generous gift is a tribute to her environmental stewardship, her conservation leadership and her tradition of protecting our state's most precious resources
