(7) (c) 1. a. A pupil enrolled in a

10requiring full-day attendance for 5 days a week for an entire school year shall be
11counted as one pupil.

2attendance for less than 5 days a week for an entire school year shall be counted as
3the result obtained by multiplying the number of hours in each day in which the pupil
4is enrolled by the total number of days for which the pupil is enrolled, and dividing
5the result by the product of the number of hours of attendance per day required of
6first grade pupils in the school district multiplied by 180.

(7) (c) 2. In subd. 1. a. and b., "full-day" means the length of the school
9day for pupils in the first grade of the school district operating the
5-year-old 10kindergarten program.

(7) (cm) A pupil enrolled in a 4-year-old kindergarten program that

the required number of 437 hours of direct pupil instruction
under s. 121.02
14(1) (f) 2. shall be counted as 0.6 pupil if the program annually provides at least 87.5
15additional hours of outreach activities.

(1) (f) 2. Annually, schedule at least 437 hours of direct pupil instruction
18in kindergarten, at least 1,050 hours of direct pupil instruction in grades 1 to 6 and
19at least 1,137 hours of direct pupil instruction in grades 7 to 12. Scheduled hours
20under this subdivision include recess and time for pupils to transfer between classes
21but do not include the lunch period.
A school board operating a 4-year-old
22kindergarten program may use up to 87.5 of the scheduled hours for outreach
23activities.".".

(13h) Four-year-old kindergarten. The treatment of sections 121.07 (7) (c)
41. a. and b. and 2. and (cm) and 121.02 (1) (f) 2. of the statutes first applies to the
5distribution of state school aid in, and the calculation of revenue limits for, the
62002-03 school year.".".
