The Honorable, The Senate:
2001 Senate Bill 9 introduced by Senators George and Huelsman, cosponsored by Representatives Cullen and Gundrum relates to the adoption of the Revised Uniform Commercial Code ("UCC") Article 9-Secured Transactions.
2001 Senate bill 9 contains a fiscal note in excess of $10,000. Pursuant to Wis. Stats. s. 16.47(2), I consider this bill to be an emergency bill and authorize passage of 2001 Senate Bill 9 prior to passage of the Budget Bill.

Joe Leean for reappointment as Secretary of the Department of Health and Family Services. Mr. Leean resigned effective March 10, 2001.
John R. Orton for appointment to the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board. Mr. Orton resigned effective February 15, 2001.
Bianca Tyler for reappointment to the Judicial Commission. Our office was notified March 20, 2001 that Ms. Tyler resigned her position sometime last fall.
