An Amendment Relating to the Governor's Task Force on Terrorism Preparedness
WHEREAS, on September 11, 2001, a series of vicious and cowardly terrorist attacks claimed the lives of numerous innocent and unsuspecting United States citizens; and
WHEREAS, I created the Governor's Task Force on Terrorism Preparedness to
(a) Study the State's past actions and policies related to Biological, Radiological, Incendiary, Explosive, Chemical and Cyber terrorism threats and preparedness; and
(b) Identify and evaluate current terrorism risks; and
(c) Offer suggested direction and guidance for the work that needs to be done in the future to ensure the safety of Wisconsin and its citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SCOTT MCCALLUM, Governor of the State of Wisconsin by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of this State, and specifically by Section 14.019 of the Wisconsin Statutes, do hereby:
1. Amend Executive Order No. 30 to provide that the Task Force shall consist of twenty-one (21) members appointed by the Governor to serve at the pleasure of the Governor; and
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Wisconsin to be affixed. Done at the Capitol in the City of Madison this eighth day of November in the year two thousand and one.
